The Grand Hotel is situated in the heart of the town of Port Talbot opposite the railway station with easy links with the M4. It was built in the early 1900's by Emily Talbot. The Grand is a family run hotel with friendly staff to help make your stay a pleasant one. The hotel has 32 En Suite Bedrooms all with Televisions complete with Sky Sports there are tea and coffee facilities and hair driers in all rooms. There is also a large bar area which is very popular with the locals this also hosts Sky Sports and ESPN Tv for all sporting events. The Grand Hotel is a great place to stay if you are just passing through the area or staying for a longer trip. We are a good base for anyone working at The Tar Tar Steel works formaly nown as Corus.There are many local attractions namely Aberavon Beach Margam Park Margam Abbey and Afan Argoed Country Park which was voted best mounting biking in Britain
