The building is a grade II listed building built in 1725 and was host to a drapery store and most recently a butchery. The canopy dates to 1855 and is protected through CADW as it is of significant historical interest. The guest house is centrally located and within walking distance of several restaurants and licensed premises. All rooms have been fully re-fitted to include en-suite facilities and TVDVDCD as well as teacoffee making facilities with complimentary bottled Welsh water and chocolates.
