This area of the Wye Valley has justifiably been designated an area of outstanding natural beauty with rugged limestone outcrops and gentle pastures offering the delights of the Wye Valley Walk and Offa's Dyke path.The early parts of the Inn were built between 1670 and 1707. In 1973 it was carefully restored and modernised retaining the original Inn as the restaurant and loungebar and extending to provide new accommodation.In creating his Michelin Star menus James Sommerin uses only the very best of fresh local produce and classic French disciplines with imaginative flair.The atmosphere remains warm and homely with service being both attentive and appropriately relaxed.You can be sure of a warm welcome.
