Many of the rooms offer king and super king sized beds as well as twin bedded rooms. Single occupancy is offered in a double room when available at a single occupancy rate. We also have two family suites comprising two bedrooms and a shared bathroom. All the rooms offer a refreshment tray 21 8 channel TV's and telephone mobile signals are very poor in Abersoch.Our restaurant 'Crabshoes' has been fully refurbished and offers a set menu for residents and a fully international menu as an option. Our restaurant is open to residents and non-residents. The menu offers locally caught Cardigan Bay Lobster Welsh Black Beef Dwyfor Lamb..... We also offer a wide choice of wines beers and spirits.'The Front Door' bar is a fully licensed bar offering a wide range of premium and regular draft beers bottled beers wines and spirits. You can also enjoy a traditional bar menu and a comprehensive selection of hot beverages. Our bar is open to the public so it can be extremely busy during the summer months.Please note being in the centre of the village offers many benefits proximity of the shops restaurants beaches etc. however this does mean the evenings can be extremely lively. During the summer months we have an extremely busy bar and restaurant which is great if you are coming to Abersoch to enjoy a vibrant environment in the village not so good if your looking for a peaceful rest away from the crowds. In this case I would advise you say outside the village.

This latest addition to the Leisureplex group is situated on the High Street in the centre of Criccieth with magnificent views towards the sea and castle from many bedrooms. All 47 bedrooms are centrally heated and have bath or shower and WC (mostly bath and WC) hair dryer TV intercom and teacoffee making facilities. Extensive public areas include a delightful cocktail bar a large restaurant entertainment room with additional bar and a cosy lounge. A small lift serves first and second floors but not the third floor. The Pearl of Wales on the shores of SnowdoniaCriccieth lies on the south side of the Llyn Peninsula with splendid views over Cardigan Bay. It is home to a medieval castle built by the Welsh in the mid-thirteenth century but later taken by Edward I who incorporated it into his ring of castles designed to maintain Norman control. It was captured by Owain Glyndwr in the uprising of 1404 and the scorch marks from that battle can still be seen! The castle headland divides the town into two with a pebbly beach to the west and a lovely sheltered mainly sandy beach to the east. Nearby is the village of Llanystumdwy which boasts a museum devoted to David Lloyd George the Welsh Wizard whose family once lived in Criccieth. The countryside around Criccieth is breathtaking withfabulous coastal views over Cardigan Bay awesome mountain scenery in Snowdonia and delightful gardens and castles at every turn.IMPORTANT CLIENT INFORMATION.The hotel will contact you 3 days prior to your arrival at the hotel to confirm your booking requirements the balance should be settled at this time. The Minffordd Hotel in Talyllyn valley Mid Wales is set in probably the most breathtaking scenery in Britain and is situated at the base of the Cader Idris with the summit being 1 12 miles NW of the hotel. The original parts of the building are over 400 years old so as you might expect the walls are very thick and there are plenty of originally features such as the original wood beams which can be seen throughout the building and our log fire which is a key feature during the winter months. We have 2 lounges available for guest to relax in at any time of the day maybe after dinner with a glass or two of your favourite drink from our extensively well stocked bar. Our restaurant seats a maximum of twenty people for dinner therefore reservations are essential to guarantee you a table especially at weekends. Breakfast is also served here with a selection of fresh fruit cereals and fruit juices full breakfasts are cooked freshly to order. .......................... We are ideally situated at the base of CADER IDRIS Mountain here in southern SNOWDONIA and a vast majority of guests are walkers and stay with us due to our location and easy access to the MINFFORDD PATH which is 5 minutes from our front door............................ We are also on the mach loop which is famous with plane spotters and photographers who also stay with us to view the low flying RAF aircraft that can be seen most days flying down the valley....................
